Many tales of success talk about the importance of continual education. Taking this to heart I recently created a personal goal to read at least one personal or business growth book each month. This is a big goal for me considering I am good at starting books, but even better at never finishing them. The first book I read was the Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale. This book was first published on April 3, 2007, which was right around the first time I read the book. At the time I was just graduating High School and still working in the residential real estate scene. This is a great time to mention that the review and opinion of this book below are all my own, they are in no way connected to Social Brothers or Joe Vitale.
This book as always been a personal favorite for me. The techniques shared in the book on how to attract everything you want are easy to understand and follow. You also learn different techniques to release negative energy and focusing your thoughts on more positive feelings and images. At times the book does become very spiritual, so if you do not believe there is a greater force out there, this would not likely be a book for you. However, if you believe there is something or someone that is guiding or helping you through this maze we call life, this could be the missing link to achieving higher career success or finding that missing relationship.
My only negative feedback I would provide about this book is the second to last chapter, which shares a story that is less than positive on an individual that he talks about throughout the entire book. I do not remember this chapter from the original time I read this book (perhaps that’s because I never made it to the end), but this time through it did stick out to me and I wish that I would have skipped this chapter. Apart from this, this book provides you with easy steps that you can use to get clear on what you want and the motivation and belief that you not only deserve but can have it as well.
For the month of May I am reading a much newer book, Start which was just released on April 24, 2013. As long as I keep up with my goal, I’ll share my review of this book as well next month.
In the comments field share some books on personal or business growth that you would recommend I add to my reading list!
